AUD These files contain sounds, but they're not used anymore. expand##.mix - ecache##.mix
BINK These files contain movies. They can be edited with RAD Video Tools. movies##.mix
BAG/IDX These two files contain the sounds. They can be edited with XCC Sound Editor. language.mix - audio.mix
CSF This file contains the strings. It can be edited with XCC String Table Editor. language.mix
HVA These files contain voxel animations. They can be converted with HVA <-> CSV. ra2.mix - local.mix expand##.mix
INI These files contain the game settings. They can be edited with a text editor. ra2.mix - local.mix expand##.mix
MIX These files are container files and contain most other files. They can be edited with XCC MIX Editor.
PCX These files contain images. They can be edited with a graphics editor. ra2.mix - local.mix
ra2.mix - neutral.mix
SHP (TS) These files contain single- or multi-frame images. They can be converted with SHP (TS) <-> PCX/PNG. language.mix - cameo.mix
