And what did you do just before they appeared?
And which version are you running?

Eh, winter.mix is from Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn. Are you trying to install XCC Editor? That's a map editor for the same game, not for Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. FinalAlert is the map editor for those games.
