No I didn't. I know they are read in after clicking save.
No, its definitely a bug, and that occurs on more than only one computer.

How is CnC able to identify the right files, if not by name?
If I add a rules.ini file to a mix-file, how is CnC able to identify rules.ini, if names are not saved in the MIX files?
