Finally, someone willing to see sense.
The (ficiticious) belief is that CNCGamer got very angry with Champsite one day and decided to hack them due to their "popularity". I can assure you this is not the case.
CNCGamer have had to endure several damaging attacks from Champsite, one of which left us with an 8-month old backup.
Their attack's seem to be timed with our TC (Team Competition). We bring out our TC, it gets popular, then we go offline.
Although no Champ member, except Kane, has the actual skill to do this, they still seem to find ways. The latest way was when Champsite stole Noorodin's password (from their OWN unencrypted database) and managed to use it on his MSN account.
Once they had control of his MSN account, they went on CNCGamer and used the password recover feature to get Noor's password to CNCGamer. Then, on Destroy3r's (A CNCGamer Network Director) birthday, they came on and deleted most of our forum (whilst spamming it) posted an insult toward Destroy3r on the main page, and deleted several members.
They also created a new Admin class and saved it, along with several new Admin's. After this, many of CNCGamer's members who had a matching Champsite password (like myself) had their account's stolen.
This is not unusual!!! They do this every time our TC starts, simply because its popularity is that much more than the XWIS ladder.
Open your eyes guys... Listen to our side of the story in all this... Who knows, it might turn out to be good advice. How many of YOU have a matching password on Champsite???
Also, just to clear some things up:
- CNCGamer did not hack Champsite. This was done by Lithium, NOT Revolt or Destroy3r. Lithium was angry that Kane hacked into a box which caused a friend of Lithium's to lose REAL money and caused Lithium a lot of problem's for a day. That is why Champsite got attacked...
- Strike Team and XWIS were not attacked for any reason other than they are asscociated with Champsite. If they were not asscociated with Champsite, they would have been left alone. Again, this was down to Lithium and not necessarily the will or desire of CNCGamer.
CNCGamer, as always, have remained the friendly party in all of this... We did not hack any sites!!! We have been made responsible for too long. We really have done nothing wrong... Please, come to www.cncgamer.com and discuss this with us. You might see there is another side the story. (Ignore the Spam on our site. As you can see, a couple of Hardcore Strike Team member's have decided to vent their frustration out on us, the CNCGamer community...
