Sidec01 and Sidec02 files contains the specific icons for each side so you could have different cameos for the same unit or building.
I've put some units shp files at those mix files to have specific shp files for the same unit but it was unsuccesful.

Is possible to have different units shp files (not icons or cameos)for the same unit?

Maybe by ading new mix files that functions like those sidec01 and sidec02?
