MMX files are in fact mix files. These mixes contain two files: a map file, and another file that describes the name of the map. This one that describes the name contains a reference to ra2.csf, so you'd have to modify your own.
Or (easier): extract the map file, rename it's extension to .mpr, and set it's name to whatever you want. If you don't know how to do that, use FinalAlert 2.
