This is by far the better option when compared with EA DROPPING THE SERVERS. The simple fact that they gave permisson to run the servers to another group shows how little they cared about these games. They want to focus on dropping them and creating new games in the C&C world to drag the fanbase into.
EA is not a company known for giving things away, this is a good thing. Now gain a little maturity and stop trying to bite the hand that feeds you.
