If the XCC Mod Launcher app is freezing up your machine when you click on it (and you're running XP SP2 or Vista - Microsoft Windows) especially with a security app like Kaspersky Internet Security, here is a possible way to stop the freezing.

Right click on the mod launcher, i.e. CannisRules, click Properties, and tab over to the compatability tab. Check to see if there is an "unblock" button present. (It may be on another tab). If you find it, click it and then OK out of properties. XCC Launcher should start working again properly.
