I had installed the lastest version of wchat, 4.221. Started SS, clicked "Online game" from the SS menu and wchat appeared. But to start a SS online game from wchat u need an option to host a SS game and/or a SS icon on the top screen of wchat like C&C and Red Alert. Nothing was to find.
Then i installed wchat 4.200 over my 4.221 version which is on the SS CD included. Yes, the SS CD contains WChat (4.200). I hoped this will be the fine version of wchat which supports SS but neither an option to host a SS game nor an icon to host a SS game was/is to find ...
I will try to delete wchat completely and reinstall 4.200 which is on the SS CD included. ...there is maybe a little bug...
Or i will search for an earlier version of Wchat. possibly 4.0 but why is 4.200 on the SS CD?
Or the Sole Survivor 1.05 patch makes the failure. So i will reinstall SS without the 1.05 patch ...
U can download SS as well to try it out
