i thought windows came with a program to convert graphic files. Ms Paint? anyway if you don't have it then you can use a free program called pictview from http://www.pictview.com/
get the dos version. the windows version doesn't convert i think. with the dos version you may have to rename some files if they use long names. sorry this is the only program i know of. maybe someone else who knows a better one can tell you about it on here later.
