download winzip. The file you have downloaded has been zipped, which means it has been compacted to reduce file size. So you need another program, called winzip, to unzip it again. A lot of things on the net are zipped, so you would find this program quite useful.
Goto http://www.winzip.com/ and download the evaluation version (it works fine even tho it's just an evaluation) Install Winzip, and you'll be able to open any file ending with .zip
