> Ok first if you don't know what I'm talking about here it is, me and other people have had our ra2 mxiers load fast and all but in the newer versions when we have yr installed it reads the ra2 mixes fast as it should but it fuly reads the yr every time as if youve started it up for its 1st time. What happens is a appentely the global mix cache.dat file cannot grow no longer so i deleted the original 27kb cache then opened up xcc mixer it read all of my mixes again but i closed the cache was not 57kb or somethgn similar. Next I opened up xcc mixer and as i had guessed it loaded fast once again. Not sure why i guess the new mixer would make a new cache when yr was added i suspected this because i removed my yr mix files and it loaded fast again. Hope this helps

Are you sure you didn't set the original cache to read-only?
Or had multiple cache files in different directories?
Or used both old and new versions of some utilities?
