people are complaining that Renegade can barely be modded coz there is no source code for them to modify. Westwood Studios is responding that they cannot give away all the source code of Renegade. what the hell?! am i understanding wrong? modders need only part of the source code. that's how half life and quake etc have been doing it for years isn't it? they don't give away the entire source code; they give a small part of it. right?
