what do you mean structure? are you talking about buildings or vehicles coz buildings are just pictures and not 3d.

all settings are explained in the readme.htm included with 3ds2vxl. size is the number of voxel blocks along the longest axis (width, length, or height). scale is just the size of the model in the viewer it has no effect on the voxel. the skybox is just a 360 wraparound background picture not necessary for voxelization but just there as one of the steps in my attempt to make the viewer more realistic so you can more easily see if there is bugs in my 3ds loading code. if the voxel is bland make sure the use materials checkbox is checked as well as the textures one. make sure the textures are 24bit uncompressed TGA or BMP even if the model file says they are something else my program will ignore that and look for the TGA or BMP versions with the same name. the use smoothing groups option should mostly be always checked despite what the front end says.

the front end is outdated and i want to replace it with options that are inside the program but i have to learn how to get text to render to texture and i am very new to windows programming.
