well everyone i did a bit of looking into the "hosts" issue myself and found out what needed to be done to correct it. If your Matching Filter isn't accepting the hosts file, you need to open the folder where the file is stored, and go to the properties of the file and make sure that "Read-only" is not checkmarked, if it is, uncheckmark it, and then restart your Matching Filter, and that should clear up the issue.

Also i have an issue with my gamespy player not wanting to work properly, it will begin to load the game selected, but as it nears the end of the buffering, it gives me an error message of "Gamespy player has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If this problem persists, contact the program vendor." Any ideas on what to do to make this operate as it should?
