I assume your new one will be more visual like TibEd is while Olaf's would be more like a text editor that can just link the multiple files together and show how changes link into other files or something. BTW, a major compliant I have with TibEd (which as you probably know is regarded as something of a Noob tool) is that it messes up the .ini files and can't work out where it is supposed to put new entries so that it looks fine if you open it in wordpad. I trust this won't happen with your Generals editor?

My editor is a hands on editor. it will have syntax colouring. and it will create bookmarks and add them to a treeview for quick access to the diffrent parts of the ini file. it will be more of a project thing than just editing one ini file. sort of like Tib Ed except i aint gonna program all the noob like features by that i mean just selectiong the option from the box. think of mine as word pad with color and quick and easy access to any part of the ini file. Also being able to switch to diffrent ini files by the click of a button. check out my web page for a pic and i am thinking about making each ini have a treeview cus i dont know if u can see but that treeview is gonna get might full with all those bookmarks.
Any suggestions are welcome
