To play ra2 online you need a online nickname which you can register here

Once you have that username and password you can click "internet" from the game and logon to the online servers.
If you wish to play on the XCL tournament ladder then you simply need to download matching filter here
http://xhp.xwis.net/utilities/MF.zip
and use this when you play quick match.
We recommend you register at www.strike-team.net where you can meet the rest of the XCL community, and where you report cheaters if you happen to run into any.
