You mean that after turning off XWIS you went back to WOL and it worked!? Strange!

Then the problem was almost definately in hosts, it's the only thing XWIS messes with.

I've in general had better connectivity with XWIS, BTW. In Custom Match, if I sat around not being in a game for long enough (usually 1 min.) I'd get "Requesting Channel List" and I'd have to go back and connect again.

Sometimes it wouldn't connect at all for no apparent reason.
