> the 1:30 bail rule (90 seconds) is killing ra2 ... the original rule is 3 minutes and it was made that for a reason ... by changing this rule you're killing the game, i kno many ppl who do not play because this rule, it kills the game and makes the game less fun ... the 90 second rule allows more rushes that eliminate long good games, and allow more 2-4 minute games which aren't what the game is made for ... also it allows engi rushes and cheap things such as killing engineers on maps where there are techs ... the rule needs to be put back to 3 minutes or ra2 will die much quicker than necessary ...
How is it killing RA2? XCL has not replaced the original Westwood Ladder, it's just an optional addition. So anything on XCL does not impact RA2 whatsoever because it's optional and it's a free service. People don't have to use XCL.
The people who say that they don't play RA2 because of 1:30 are just narrow-minded. You have ALL of your XCL stats registered at the original Westwood Ladder, so why not compete in an extra ranking-system, no matter what the rules are? There's no reason not to.
To say that 1:30 is killing RA2 is an idea with no logic behind it. It's not cumpolsory to play on XCL, so why would someone retire from RA2 when they disagree with an XCL rule?
MarlFox, your stupid idea that an XCL rule is killing RA2 does not make any sense.
