> I've tried the program 3ds2vxl, but I can't edit the code then. i've tried two scripts for 3dmax a "voxelizer" and a "voxelimporter". The voxelizer exports the file as a textfile which is very nice (I don't understand the code, but I guess I could learn), but it can't be imported back in to 3dmax even though it's unaltered!
Did you contact the author of the importer?
The users of the Deezire forum have more experience with the voxels.
> I know there has been written a lot on the subject of 3ds and vxl already on the forum, but I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for yet. I couldn't find the 3ds->vxl converter on http://deezire.net/ as writen in another post. Is it different from the ones I've mentioned and would it be helpfull to me?
> Does anyone know of other programs or know what I'm doing wrong or has any advise I would be very thankfull. After several days search without really getting anywhere I'm starting to get very frustrated
