The help page isn't. It doesn't appear to start. There was no "installation": it's an executable file. No documentation in MF.zip. Please advise.

You haven't addressed any of the other points I brought up about MF. Since I've never seen it do anything, is there any indication at all from MF when it is running or connected?

That was the problem. This line had appeared in my hosts file, but since no documentation said it should be there, I assumed it was an error and deleted it. However, MF still didn't work, until I removed the original WOL servserv.westwood.com line. It is now working, although the title still reads Offline FPW FTP. Perhaps that goes away when I login to WOL, but I'd have to change screens to see it. Thanks!!

I'm not sure that I should care, either, it's just that I like stuff to work. It's nice to have it, since on slow days at XWIS I can go to WOL.

Perhaps you could post what that filter does somewhere?

Hey, thanks a bunch. You've restored my faith in human nature by answering all of my questions. Last time anyone did that, they were trying to sell me something.
