isn't as detailed or technically accurate as Flyby's
off-the-cuff description, but it is a good starting place.
The bottom line for normals editing is: use flyby's
auto-normals tool in the Voxel Section Editor. It does a
good-enough job most of the time. Without normals or with
the wrong normals, your voxels will look bad in the game.
You can always do the finishing touches to the normals by
hand in the Voxel Section Editor if you are a power voxel
editor guru ;)
To be honest, most of the time you don't need to
*understand* normals to know how to use them.. :eek:
