ok, ok, ok...
I saw the terrain expansion and (all in all) I see that this is going to have to be one of those "to each his own" methods of doing things.
The only thing I really have to gripe about his method is the replacement of original game art. I want my "new theater" effect to not interfere at all with the existing theaters... sorry, no offense intended, but this is my preference.
However, he did beat me to it, and of course he gets bragging rights... round of applause... and another round of applause... just wish I would've got involved in this modding thing sooner.
I have a few questions about your map editor, though...

Will it support the editing of any ini other than the rulesmd.ini? (I hate that fact about FA)
Will it have an accurate list of anims for the "Play anim at..." trigger, lol (another big ol' gripe about FA)
What map file types will it support, all kinds?
