I suggest you get a CVS tool (like wincvs) and use it to download the entire XCC source tree - there are login instructions at the sourceforge site. Doing a download one file at a time over the CVS web interface is a real pain.

yes. that is the native gui controls (windows, menus, buttons etc) that windows uses.
