Is there also any chance bmp can be used for producing shps? I know pcx makes alot more sense, but I really don't know any renderers at all that can output pcx, and OS SHP Builder (from PPM, formerly known as BS SHP) is just too slow. If you read this, sorry, Banshee.

If bmp is imported then my pallete problems are fixed also, since the colors will be converted to the selected pallete. I'll never again have to use my illegetimate version of Jasc Image Robot (which can't be legally obtained anymore).
