Some ra2 modding online...harmless, right?? | Interceptor | 15:36 23-01-2002 | | |
well, I used xcc mixer and editor by extracting the rules.ini file from local.mix which was extracted from ra2.mix. I modded the rules.ini, only the COLORS, yes thats right, colors, I wanted to change the schemes of the letters and team colors which would/SHOULD affect me only. HOWEVER after modding those perameters, putting the ini file into local.mix and saving it, local.mix bak into ra2.mix (yes I deleted the other local.mix that remains in the editor and replaced it with my own which contains my color modded rules.ini file ONLY as a change)running the game, and going online, I get the "game versions incompatible" crap when I try to join a game. anyone know a way around this? this modding is supposed to affect ME souly and no one else since it is only graphic editing......
