> What exactly is wrong with the shadow?
Resizing caused darkened edges which are interperted as non-shadow.
> And what if you render at the final size and disable AA?
Well... it looks bad
I can show a comparison if you want. The purpose of AA is to smooth colors, without it things look blocky, like they've been made in Paint.
Resizing with the Mixer gives the exact same smoothing effect, except the no smoothing occurs to the background color, which is the cause of funny colors or holes between shadow and image.
I have two more requests for a future version:
1) When I'm converting PCXs which do not all have the exact same pallete, the final SHP has messed colors. It's as if the Mixer only reads the first pallete.
2) When I'm converting PCXs whose pallete is not the same as what is selected, the color black is turned into background color. Could this be optionally disabled?
meselfs himself!
