eg. means "For Example".

The hosts file may be the source of the problem. It is a file that has to do with IP's, and unless you use XWIS or your computer is networked, the hosts file is useless and may cause problems.

Delete it. It is safe to delete. It is probably located in C:\Windows\hosts (the file has no extension).

Some newer computers have it located somewhere else in a windows subdirectory.

Also, try connecting to XWIS and see if it works. Make sure you delete hosts THEN try XWIS.
