It would be the pcx>vxl conversion which I knew didn't save normals. What I did was make several voxels using it, then do normals on them and finally put them all into a single multi section voxel with vxlutil. The resulting voxel couldn't be edited correctly in the hva editor and when DMZ looked at it told me it was a problem with one of the voxel making utils but he didn't know which one and that it was doing either the header or tailer wrong that is needed for translation and rotation functions. I don't believe it was his util though or he'd have known that and I used that util for the hind without problems as well as the old will voxel editor leading me to think it might be XCC.
