well i'm still banned but anyway i re-numbered all the keys. it was quite easy. i'll add mouse support and maybe even joystick support since flyby is giving us some time here.
i ran into a strange bug with the graphics though. 640x480 is working, 1024x768 is working, 1280x960 is working, 1600x1200 is not working coz i have a diet geforce2 (that's the MX version) and windows doesn't let me put it that high in the desktop, but the strange thing is that 800x600 is not working; all hell breaks loose in that mode and they all use the same exact code except for one variable that is set different in one place. hmm weird. Another weird thing is that like a second after my program starts an empty window opens up on the screen and occupies one of the flip pages causing the screen to flash black and white. absolutely fatal to epileptics i'm sure. i had to add code to erase the flip pages for at least a second after starting the graphics. btw is everyone able to do 32bit color coz that's all i've programmed it to do.
btw Doom 3 is coming out next year so we'll have to wait till next year for me to add 3d accelerator support to 3ds2vxl. that's when i'll buy a new computer with a geforce 7 or something so i can play Doom3. i want to experience it fully. it'll be like i'm in a horror movie. i'll probably also get some concert speakers and strap them to my head and use them as headphones. man that game will really warp my brain. it'll blow me away.
