ok thats good then if no more crashes when runing 3dsmax at same time as 3ds2vxl, nah i never lost any work couse i make a backup just incase summit goes wrong. ermm i never done any thing 2 switch of the viewer when ii downloaded 3ds2vxl its been the same way i never changed a thing in it so i thought the viewer never workerd.
spliting the turret from a vxl is very simple only takes about 5 mins, the best way i do it is make a 3d model and keep the turret attached to the body then run 3ds2vxl then open it in wills 1st vxl editor and use the clear Z tool 2 clear layers away in seconds so it can only take about 5 mins 2 do it.i dont know if u make a model animation the convert 2 3ds if it still works couse i never use the animation tool(dont know how) so i cant help yah there.
