that sucks!!!. ok i'm gonna have to write warning in my readme that using gmax is a waste of time then. the whole point of my program was to save artists some time and effort because they would have a highly portable model afterward that they could use for anything.

in other news. has anyone seen the screenshots for Everquest2? the look better than Doom3. I want those models in my program now! do you think someone will give info on the model format? it's a shame those models will be in a game that is so un-interactive. i heard it's one of those games that if you want to fight, you just click on the combat button and then go read a newspaper and come back to it a few minutes later to see if you lived or died.
