I have similar code, available at:

the tool is command-line, and you supply two files: the voxel file to analyse and the name of the text file to put the report in. E.g. :

normaliser1 apc.vxl apc.txt

You can then read apc.txt to see how the normals are on different sides.

There is still an imperfection in the algorithm where a voxel can be mis-reported as being left-facing when it is in-fact right-facing (or top-facing instead of bottom-facing- you get the idea): Koen and I are working to make such cases handled better :)

I only thought the descriptions of the sides (TOP LEFT etc) would make people's lifes a little easier at this early stage :cool:

Give us feedback, particularly when dealing with multi-section voxels and RA2 voxels..
