After your info on the theader and the remark Vipr posted here, I have changed the header of my test slab from 2 (default used by the txt>vxl in the XCC mixer) to 4.

When on 2, the normals did not react to XY rotation , except for the S-N rotation. After changing to 4, they did.

I used Koen's voxel editorII on www.tibed.net
On the left panel, just above the palette and tools, you'll find [edit header] adjust the number and save again.... as simple as that.. :D
